"Wisdom of Elders Across America™ " is more than just a good name. In 2009 the ICareVillage team began to capture video clips of elders sharing their wisdom of hindsight. This started as anecdotes related to history, entertainment, and pop culture but blossomed into much more. Our mission is to foster a reverence for elders. Through taking better care of our older generation, we learn how to better care for ourselves and our world.

"Whiskey and Apple Pie" is the first of a series of films ICareVillage is producing to capture stories and wisdom of the elder generation.

EngagingSeniors

Many seniors in assisted living facilities are faced with isolation. They often go for meals and they return to their rooms without getting to know their peers. ICareVillage has produced a video-based senior enrichment program for senior facilities across America. This program provides a relatable, common ground to help seniors connect.
